definitely try them, they are surprisingly easy. just learn it stationary first, then try it on embankments and the side of kickers and stuff. i found it easiest with a method grab, but try it with a japan too, looks the bomb!

Easier on the nose on an embankment 'cause you're heading in that direction when you do it, and also most people find it easier to grab their tail than the nose of the board.

Stationary though, normally easier to press on the tail and grab the nose. Also best to practise.

I don't like it though Razz One of these, its old-skool but lets bring it back' sort of things.

I Find Noseblocks Easier...But....I Went Cas The Other Week Not Intending To Board..But Ended Up Doing An Hour On A Rental Board...It Was A 160 And I Could Nose Block Every Time...Now On My Dominant 155 I Really struggle..:s???

quite a few of my buddies have broken their boards doin these, including a classic "hey check this badboy out" CRACK!! "oooh.." followed 2 runs later by tail delamination ha ha
..so mayb not worth busting them out every run unless your riding something thrashed!!
