I'm starting to get into this freestyle thing a bit more.... So i'm wearing a helmet more often and i'm getting sick of the crappy sweaty rental ones.

Where's the best place to get a decent helmet in June? I quite like the look of the Pro-tec Classics, and they're not too expensive either. £35-45.

I've had a look through the sites that give SCUK discount and couldn't find much there. Snow and Rock only have three left and they're XXS or XXL! Same story on FleaBay... only obscure sizes left from last season.

I'm waiting on a response from protechelmet.com on their delivery charges to the UK.

Any other suggestions guys?

(OMG! A post without any smilies!! Surprised )

(Dammit! Mad )

Cheers Branny... Those Bern Baker Audio lids look schweeeeeet! Thumbs Up
I looked at the £20 summer ones first cos the price drew me in! But the Bakers are only a £10er more and they look ace... And then the Baker Audios are only a £10er more than that!

I once went to B&Q for a new light switch and came back with a £12 remote controlled touch-sensitive chrome one using that same reasoning...
"But this one is only £2 more.... But then *that* one is only an extra £1.... But then i might aswell spend the extra £1.50 and get *THAT* one...." Rolling Eyes

Mac83 thats well funny...
yep
storetwentyfour is the way to go...
though the best thing to do is go and try on a helmet... I bought a helmet over the internet and ended up with something that was so uncomfortable, I was hitting the park with it off.... lol

Erm...
Well JonnyGRanger....
I have the Burton Audex Ear Pads, i think they're called?
come with DJ style headphones for the off season...
They're compatible with any R.E.D Helmet fitted with Quick Fit, Or Quick Clip or something can't remember the name for the life of me...
R.E.D are really good quality helmets as well
PM me for more details....
Price I'm not sure I paid 160 Euro for the Helmet and Ear doohickys... So I don't know what the price would be if you split the two....
Erm im sure you could order one over the internet, though thats not the best thing to do because you might not like the fit.... Confused
otherwise i'm sure you could look for some around the shops...
In particular Snow and Rock Sad
Hope this helps
Cheers
