Ok so there was a massive one for the season gone that gave me the inspiration to do a season in Whistler myself so I thought it would be great if we started another one for this season.
Have spotted a few posts here and there with people saying they have booked or booking so would be great to chat and share the information we find out and ask questions!
Also a good chance to get to know people, find out where they are saying and what flights they are on!
Previous years thread is here and a massive source of info:
http://www.snowboardclub.co.uk/PNphpBB2-viewtopic-t-20979.html
So yeah I am booked into Chalet White Gold and flying with Zoom from manchester on the 29/10. |

Am after a new Bike and have my heart set on a VFR400 but keep telling myself to save save save! |

Hey Oz- I'll be flying with Canadianaffair.
Not too sure about the cash thing as this is my first time doing a whole season so i have been looking at about £1000 a month, just incase of any unforeseen expenses.
How long you planning on staying? |

Ill be flying from Gatwick on the 26th of Nov however my Chalet is not ready until the 1st of Dec so i was thinking of checking out Vancouver for a few days. Im staying until the end of May.
Oh and im planning on being a bum for the whole time. |

Hey guys fon't be so hasty, this season isn't over yet, we had 19cm of snow yestereday and the mountain is still in great condition. I'm not even sure if the bike park will open in time with all the snow we've still got at mid mountain.
Having said that I'm jealous of you guys, I'd love to be back out here next winter but it's not going to happen. Still at least I have the summer to look forward too.
If you have any questions about living here just ask away I'm sure between us all we can answer them.
On living costs $150 to $200 a week is fine for food and occasional drinks. $300 a week wyou can live like a king, too much more than that and you're getting into the realms of rockstar lifestyle possibilities, think hookers and blow! |

full season would be until end of july if you wanted it to be...
am supposed to already be working one of the golf courses but its still to cold, and there is too much snow around to even get a start there yet.
i'm not so sure why you are all so keen to spend so much money in one of those chalets and bum the season. i've ridden 115 days this winter, only missed one pow day through work, even if you start at 10 you still get 3 hot laps in when its untracked, and worked full time, saved enough money for a trip to mexico in 2 weeks... and still had a lot of boozey nights and gone out to dinner once a week... |
