Would depend on the insurance policy surely?
Even my private health cover only covers £250 of physio/alternative therapies/psychiatric treatments a year and that has to be authorised by my GP and costs me £2000 annually with a £100 excess! Go figure.
My guess (and that's all it is) would be you couldn't claim. |

Okey dokey, went for the insurance with SCUK to be honest wished i'd not bothered now and gone with Crystal soo bladdy annoyed!! got a huge phone bill because they couldnt be arsed to get in touch with me on holiday.
Just got off phone with them and asked why they've not bothered to get back to me about various things to be told " we dont seem to have a number to get in touch"" argghhhh
Was told daughter couldnt fly home unless they had the right forms etc off dr's and physio saying shes fit to fly now they say we cant claim physio....seems catch 22 situation, but she needed the physio so she could fly home!! |

im with tag connect and racked up $2.5k CAD from my broken wrist, never had physio but went there to get a sports splint so i could continue skiing normally after my cast came off. I got a referal from my doc and i think if you do that then its all good. I also know of someone here that got a referal to do with physio on their hip and tag connect paid the physio direct after their first appointment, i do think however they limited it to a certain amount of sessions (8 is my mind for some reason)
tag for me have been wicked, i sent all my paperwork off from canada on the 8th and they paid out my check in full (excess waiver of £10 has probably saved me a fair bit) on the 20th.
also if it doesnt work physio is only $60 a session if you say your here for the season or a local. |

i didn't read this thread at the time, and was reading it thinking "Your daughters still waiting to fly home from Whistler, that was months ago!"
I'm not the sharpest tool in the box! |
