made the simple mistake of leaving out the times the voucher is valid.
On the contrary... they have basically told you they can decide exactly when you use it. They haven't missed anything out as they have included a clause which says they can effectively do what they want. That's why they included it - they can choose when to let you on and when not to, as and when they feel like it - if they quoted times and dates, then they would lose that flexibility. They are giving you something for nothing (from their point of view) so why shouldn't they decide when you get your something? Why would they want to give you a free saturday night when they would be able to sell that place? This is pretty standard procedure for offers like this - there was no mistake.
(BTW, I was simply pointing out that the ts and cs are there - you don't have to "spend" your points before finding this out.) |

Attitude people.
It sounds pretty tight to me. Okay, the "venues" have the right to amend their offer, but if you've read and understood those T&Cs, which do state what they can't be used for (bank holidays, etc), but do not make any mention of time of day, then it sounds to me that suddenly saying "off peak only" when you come to use them is a substantial change to that offer.
I doubt Trading Standards would get you very far, but you could try writing to Customer Services at SNO!zone and see what they say.
As figureitout says, hold on to them and try again from 1st May onwards as that's when they relax things a little for their summer period and when SCUK members can start to take advantage of a 20% discount on just about all sessions, including Thu/Fri freestyle. |

Thanks for the advice
Do you know if the learner slope at MK is open on the freestyle nights?
Its just £35 for 4 hours of freestyle, however i still need to get the basic stuff nailed, so wondering if the learn slope would be open? |

I like the little advertisement you got in there Dunx
It does appear that they've just sneakily added the off peak thing but as said before, that catch all condition says they can. Now if they said you couldn't use it at all or that it's only valid if you're over 80 and bring your grandmother, you'd have a bit more of a case because that's significantly limiting. Email their customer services and see what they say, might be interesting if nothing else. |
