A bit early to get too excited but a storm system is bringing some snowfall to the resorts outside of Santiago now through this weekend. El Colorado, Valle Nevado and La Parva all getting a little coverage.
Nice to know that its cold enough already for some recordable snowfall.
Last season was very good
hopefully this is an indicator that we may have another deep season.

yes there is and lots of it, but we are now closed! its s o so so so sad! more due next week so its a hiking we shall go!
hope chili works out to be another bumper season! i will get there one year but this summer i have a job and i need the work!
maybe next year!

I'm so jealous, wish it was still winter in the Northern Hemisphere; this was Blackcomb today, final day of regular opening before summer riding starts on the Glacier tomorrow:
