| Hi. We're off to Chamonix on the 17th April. 3 intermediate snowboarders who won't want to waste any of the 3 days. Any advice on the best areas to make for would be very welcome. |

We were riding fresh lines at Flegere all day on Tuesday and Wednesday - conditions are still very good everywhere except Les Houches, though the snow is probably best at Grands Montets. Tuesday was one of hte best days of the season! Blue skies and deep powder.
That's a good deal - also the lift pass is now effectively half price - after 12th April, when you buy a day pas, you get the next day for a Euro. This wil go on until the GM closes on the 11th May.

Chaletlaforet,
Is the Grand Montets suitable for beginners?
I have flights booked into Geneva for 03/05 for a week, and haven't decided on which resort to go to yet, however everyone is telling me to go to Tignes for guaranteed snow... i know its late in the season...
But if Cham is still open and will be sufficient for a week, then the shorter transfer is a big selling point for me.
Situation is my mrs will be a complete beginner and wants to learn to ski, so is the Grand Montets suitable? Or will enough of Cham be open for the mrs to have a good time?
Or do you think i should go to Tignes??
PS. Nice website |
