Post subject: Jumping/Trick Advice

Hey everyone, am new here  How is everyone?
Just got back from a session at Chill Factore in Manchester and I've only been on the slope around 4-5 times after I've had my lessons and I've began to complete the jumps and rails etc. I landed a few sweet jumps but I still feel like I'm a bit rusty and can't relax while coming up to the jump. Just asking advice on the best stance or best angle you guys have just to give me a bit more confidence when I'm entering the jump.

Think about breaking down your trick into separate elements to help you visualise what you want to achieve. Approach, takeoff, manoeuvre and landing.
Get your ollies working so you feel confident in popping off the jump. Do not worry about grabs to begin with. You want to be stable in the air. If your ollie is good then you will pop and your board will be nicely under you ready for grans in the future. Do not reach for them, bring your legs up. You can work on your ollies on the flats, no need to start straight on a jump.
Watch other people and see how they approach things. What speed they are going at, where their dropping from, what they do. You can learn a lot from other people. Even what not to do, which is more often the case. Then try and see what happens.
