Hi ya,
Start small and work yourself up again to gain your confidence. Make sure your clear on how best to fall, and make sure you have some good pads just in case.
With boxes, the biggest thing I see is people trying to turn or jump of a rail if is goes wrong mid trick. If your off angle while on the box, just relax and ride off the feature. Trust me you'll get away clean. DO NOT try and turn etc.
Set yourself up for success, i.e. on a 50-50 do not do lots of turns into the box. Find a spot to drop in straight into the feature, then one little scrub to set yourself up to be comfortable to be flat for a bit. Keep shoulders in line with board. Look at end of box (that is your goal). Your board will want to be where your shoulders and head are so keep them on track. Keep stacked over your board. Straight legs will mean you cannot adjust on the box, be flexed and you will be lower and more stable.
Hope that helps and get back on it and have some fun.
