Flying solo to Morzine that week so will keep an eye out. There's also a just4girls camp running that week too.
A mate over in Chatel said she's been waist deep in powder for the last couple of days. |

I'm in Morzine/Avoriaz now. We have had loads of powder recently which was well overdue after all the hot weather we have had. Looks like there is more snow to come!
I've been here for a few months and planned to nail 360's before I went home but im only on bs and fs 180s. I did the cbs freestyle camp a few years ago. Would love to do it now without the accommodation but don't think that is possible. |

Nah, not this season, but have a great time Matt!
I was out in Morzine for a few days over Easter, and we must have had a couple of feet of fresh pow on Good Friday - it was one of my best ever days, the piste runs over at La Rosta in Les Gets were empty due to the poor vis/flat light and were more like powder runs due to the snow - properly awesome, never known anything like it |

I'll be either on/off piste on a Lib Tech TRice, or trying to teach myself switch/freestyle stuff (probably unsuccessfully) on a Imperium Nico Watier, so come and say hello if you see me on the slopes, or in the village. Flying solo and it'd be good to have a beer or two.
Oh, and I'll be wearing a black jacket, white pants and lid, with neon green/pink Oakley Crowbars and possibly a backpack, so shouldn't be too hard to miss.
TRice (middle base):

Plisskin - if the camp is anything like previous years we usually have lunch at Changabang's in Avoriaz between 1 and 2 ish during the week so that might be the best place to look us up from Monday ... they'll be a fair few of us me thinks!
Hopefully we'll catch up with you at some point.
BTW - I'll be on a Burton Doom (late model Big Skull on Top sheet), black pants and probably a white and green jacket with Anon goggles
Jeenyus - I think I read somewhere you need a helmet to ride the Arare Park now - Something to do with keeping the punters out - you might want to check fella

Ok, will be keeping em peeled for you all.
Any spots for apres ski straight off the slopes you can recommend? Never been before, but I'm assuming I'll be coming back via the Super Morzine lift or on the bus.
In a chalet and trying to keep costs down, but will be up for watching the champions league games on Tue and Wed. Any suggestions?
Cheers. |
