Post subject: Summit Park/Nevis Range Weather & Park Updates

Hi all,
Its a real sunny day no winds a perfect day for riding but no uplift at Nevis Range, although I keep hearing that Nevis Range may open next week for the weekend if conditions persist. Maybe it’s just a rumour.
Maybe if you post a message, if your up for riding next weekend on the best early snow Nevis Range as had for years maybe they will push the limits to open... It’s worth a try.

Not the best picture, the sun was a bit too bright this morning will get a few pics this evening.

man that looks like a top pic, and i am well and truely up for rididng next weekend, was contemplating heading up north for a hike to ride some powpow, what do you think are the chances of getting a good run in on fresh powder, even on a hill with no uplift? or finding a spot to build a kicker to session?

| Mark, have you been up on the hill recently? What's the situation with the Goose T bar? Did they strip it over the summer months and if so, have the bars been rehung yet? |

Hi Folks,
Just going to nip out and get a few more shots of the hill as the sun goes down, will post them soon.
We have a few friends up at goose drive, they say the snow is knee deep powder with full cover.  They will mail me some pics tonight and I will post them. Not sure if they will make it to the summit but I will let you know.
Will be back soon with some more pics.

My gran has an Autumn fair...so I'll be spending next weekend with a group of people who's combined age would take us back to the roman invasion  |

I will personaly shake the hand of someone if the hike that, ive walked up the down hill track before and that almost killed me couldnt imagin doing it in the snow! tho it would be so worth it in the end!.
They said on there website they may open at weekends if they get a decent amount of snow, i heard there was 10 feet of snow at the summit! |

Hi all,
No more pics to show you yet, the hill has been getting a real battering, strong gale force winds and milder temps.
Upper hill will still be getting snow, but I don’t know about ten feet of snow on the Summit. 
The hike up is hardcore, 3500ft to walk and then ride...
I heard Glencoe might open at the weekend if conditions allow.
