Smith Holt
Bern Baker

Both low profile; lots of colours. Holt comes with or without Skullcandy audio.

with ya on the bern baker..make sure you get the EPS version not the brockfoam (no safety rating) , summer version is only about £29 Quid (no liner) or the full version with liner, plus an audio model available.

truely the best lid i've ever had, excellent goggle interface lots of colours (if you can get 'em) and comfy as furk

buy one!!

worth mentioning although they are all season, removing the liner can make 'em a bit on the big side, however getting the summer that fits and adding a liner or beanie can make it a bit tight

I got a large summer and with the pads is fine, remove the pads and add a thin beanie for cold use, I'm not a big fan of liners, so this method suits me best, means i can adjust for the location and the temp

Get one with vents.

Any R.E.D or Giro lids will do, or a Dainese 'Fun'.

i was worried about lack of vents, but i've used my baker to sk8 in in cape town (at about 30 odd degrees) and it's actually just as cool as my old sk8 lid which is vents a plenty!!

Go to a shop and try as many on as you can, an ill fitting helmet is not going to protect you as well or be as warm and comfortable as one that fits well. My wife wanted a cool looking helmet and tried just about every one in about 6 different places before she found one that was comfotable and secure. Unfortunantley for her it wasnt a girly pink onebut a matt black urban style thing LOL!! If you have plenty cash go and check out the sweet range of helmets. The best protection you can get. AFter all how much do you value your head mine has saved me a few times already. http://www.sweet.no/
