well i have finally decided to pie the advice from the doctors and get back on my board after far too long off it for my liking.
this is mainly aimed at Bags, and following a reply from him, anyone interested in riding the parks at braehead this week or in fact any week.
any word on the setup for this week?
hint hint - transfer kickers!?!?!
laters,
stu |

Welcome back sir ! tonight is a bit of a Pre BUSC SNO!fresh on the slope and in the bar and as such we have four features out which will stay and become part of thursday and friday's parks. I should be able to release the full plan later, until then this is what will be out on the slope
Make your way down here tonight to take advantage of the student night session (with ID) and you get a night of crazy fun both on and off the slope! |

| Nice..... I had just emailed you Bags with some requests but this layout looks good. I was looking for a long box to practice my frontside boardslides on. |

and i just replied
try the boardslides on the down section of the flat down rookie i think thats your best bet this week If ben is riding (academy coach) he should be able to give you some advice if your stuck.
If anyone has requests then please put them in as i would rather tailor the park to riders needs and wants. Repairs are comming along and im sick to death of using the grinder - once the new wood arives i should have the top sections back on all the box's alowing andy and billy to put them out again |

i know there has been a thread on here before for park suggestions but would it be handy if everything was in one place?
the transfer kickers mentioned above would be nice, personnaly i would like to see a flat box jacked up nice and high with a step up onto it. another hip jump, up-barrel tap-down box (?!?), gap to down box - seen so many times on videos, would love to try one. think that'll do for now.
cheers |

hey
we had the gap to down box a month ago i think but we could give it a go soon with a bigger box, we can try the pipe again but it takes a while to get that setup so it may have to be in a week or two. I realy want to get the transfer kickers built, will have to wait until after the easter schools break as they will be quite substantial.
there are allot of us who check out the forums to see the chat to try and improve what we do at the SNO!zones so start any topic about one of the sites and we do pick up on it you may have to bump the topic ocasionaly if you dont see your feature built but we will allways try our best. |

andy liked it allot so he insisted we had it in the plan
Here is next weeks park as im off to the brits, expect a bit of open interpritation or changes to the plan though - it will be sweeeeeeeet as you are left in the safe hands of Andy Leslie and Billy Liang who by now will have there evil park building minds set fully in gear |

Agree but what happened to the spool and rainbow? The gas pipe spine was a nice replacement though, plenty airtime when gapping and lots of different ways to hit it. Butter box was cool aswell. Side hits on it would be a good addition next time.
First night back after injury also Stu and no mental barriers encountered which is nice. How'd you get on? |

first time back on the board was ok, took me a bit longer to get back into it but eventually was getting most of my tricks back and also learned some new ones - switch to tail slide 270 out, and 270 front board along the gas pipe on the spine.
no mental barriers is pushing it a bit but i got over them fairly quickly, just need to get on with it really. so happy to be back on the board though. |
