I kind of agree but we do a full line, which ranges from £ 50.00 in the UK and upto the FRENZY which was our top end PR piece. And every shop wanted to buy into the top end pieces, and the price youve looked at includes postage which is down to the retailer. But when you see it in the flesh its a really nice fully fleece lined hood, and the Internet Pictures dont do it any justice.
Things like the T's all have a 5% spandex in them which give them a wicker effect for riding in, but you can wear them as a normal t's aswell as they dont look as gay as thermals. Same again seeing them in a store gives them a totally differnet appeal to seeing them on the internet.
For winter ive worked with all our retailers to bring the HEATED HOODIE into the UK so that you guys can buy it for the same price as the US price, and the same with the MFM Pro boards.
Every brand you see in our shops you can find cheaper in the US so its not really a comparison, but these two pieces are the start of things to come for TECHNINE and NOMIS in the UK to help you guys out.
If you want to see more of what going on the check out my site at www.oneloveofboardsports.com |

...well add the cost of the flight and there only about £770 then
seriously though at UK prices, compare them to most other brands (burton, special blend, foursquare, bonfire, DC Shoes)....your looking at between 50 & 70 quid for a zipped hoodie anyway..and the detail and quality on the nomis stuff is second to none.
so don't be such a hater... |

Cheers Branny,
but seriously go into a store and see the range, and if you do like it, you wont have a problem in paying 70 quid for it.
There is so much detail that goes into that all over print hoodie, its a long length piece, all the zips and strings are custom stamped, the linning is full fleece, the hood is double lined and printed right through.
Since we delivered them into stores, ive had a fair few shop staff ringing me to try and get hold of them from stock as theyve seen how nice the pieces are.
Its not meant to be the cheapest, but if you want a cheap hoodie go to primark, if you want to look the bollocks in a sick looking hood get some NOMIS. |

Just out of interest if you worked with the retailers to bring the heated hoodie prices into line with the US prices does that mean its actually the retailers that are setting the high prices?(for all the lines in general)
As for a decent hoody :p I did just buy a DC one for £50 and like I said I like the Nomis design but an extra £25 for some extra print which although does make it look sick is a little OTT!
But saying all this Ill prob will end up buying one lol but Id rather have a little spare change to actually ride with my sick looking gear, rather than posing in the mirror in my bedroom in my sick gear but no money to go ride! |

Hey man everyone to their own,
Hey just realised you live in Manchester, im just working on two sick park features for the CHILL factor so weve got something decent to ride on to save everyone having to drive to CAS to ride a nice park.
For the heated hoodie we cut our distributors margin down to next to nothing, and then agreed with all the retailers stocking this to work on a different mark up, but so they still make enough money to be happy to stock it and not going out of buisness, which means you get a better price point and your money stays in the UK snowboard industry which is big thing for me. |

I love Nomis but i have to agree that its at the top end of both price and quality brackets.
The majority of hoodies are basic hoodies £10 (roughly)with screen printed or stitched on designs and then marked up to £50, so your paying an extra £40 for a logo to be screen printed or stitched on.
Looking at the Nomis hoodies, there seems to be allot more to them than just screen printing so I suppose that makes the price reflects the quality, detail and aesthetics of them.
I doubt I'd buy one as I can't personally justify spending over £50 on a hoody, but for everyone who's complaining that its cheaper in the USA, save all your yearly clothes shopping until you visit the U.S if its so cheap.
....Just make sure you have a big enough suit case to bring your swag back! |

Yeah there deffinately not a £ 10 printed hoodie,
And you do get what you pay for, the cheaper hoods from some brands are just polyester or a thin cotton hoodie and the brands just print a logo on them. Trust me I sell them aswell for another brand.
NOMIS makes hoods and clothing for riding in, and not flimsy thin cotton hoods, all the hoods in the range are fully fleeced lined, not just in the parts you can see, and all of them have either fully lined hoods or fully printed hood, all the zips are custom NOMIS zips and all the ties and pulls are customer stamped or printed with NOMIS detailing. And probably the most stand out part is the embroided logo, you dont get embroidery like that on a cheap price point hoody.
The NOMIS FRENZY hood was our top end piece and is dripping with quality and well worth the 70 well earned squids out of your wallet. But we also do 55 and 60 quid hoods aswell with all the same fleece lined detailing just less details prints instead of all over prints, and the hoods are lined rather than fully printed. |
