I'll be buying my board from TSA at Cas.
My bindings too.
All mountain board for less than £250 and bindings for less than £150. |

| Sorry, I hadn't spotted this. We do have a FAQ section already, so might simply add most of Charlie's good work to that. |

Height: 178 cm
Weight: 62 kg
Prefered snowboarding style: Freestyle
Your snowboarding skill level: Intermediate
Our recomended snowboard length: 152 cm
Im just wondering is that right for a freestyle board? For that Height and Weight, I went for intermediate because I don't want to buy a novice board then quickly have to buy another, or should I just go for expert sizing straight away? |

Yeah I think so, it's more weight than height and you're pretty light. |

This calculator is pretty good: http://www.snowboardlength.com/
It's not set in stone, you can go a couple of centimeters either side of the recommended length.[/b]
I just checked it out as I was curious to see what size board sit would recommend for me I'd just like to warn anyone who doesn't know any better and might trust this source for sound advice - THIS CALCULATOR IS RETARDED.
I appreciate that there is a disclaimer to say that it's not 'set in stone' but when something tells me that I should be riding a 173cm freestyle board you know there's something wrong!
Before you say it i'm not even a bit overweight...nor am I a giant. I'm 6ft4 and 85kg. I've been riding for 11 years and I currently ride a 159 (Park & jib) and a 161 (all-mtn) which both feel like perfect size boards for me - I wouldn't even say I couldn't ride a slightly shorter board too!
I guess the calculations might be a little more accurate for the 'average' sized guy but for anyone else this calculator is a joke |

You're right, it is retarded for taller/heavier people.
This one is much better it turns out and gives you figures pretty close to what you already ride: http://www.snowboardlengthcalculator.com/
I'll edit the original post. |

| Added/edited a few bits. I might change a few more things when I get a hold of what we have in 2010. |
