Hello, thought I'd join the discussion - got my Bunac place confirmed a few days ago....so I'll be one of the worky types!
Planning on going out in early September, and hopefully never coming back (try and get a proper work visa once I'm out there!)
But I am going on my own (so far anyway) so knowing a few people that are going too would be a bonus! |

I'm there. All I've got to do is:
1.) Not get fired for doing feck all whilst I daydream through my job whilst thinking of another season.
2.) Save some cash.
1 will be harder.
Seasons are absolutely awesome and it's just nasty waiting for next year to come around. |

I went in to my first season thinking "lets get it out of my system and get on with life" and left thinking "this is my life, never let it out of my system". It's a cliche (that I may have just invented but is crack-addictively true.)
Spent 5 weeks in Whistler in 2004 to know that it's a pretty special place. |

Hey Guys n Gals,
Hope you guys dont mind having an Aussie on board, My gf and I are keen to do the 08/09 season in Whistler and I have been checkin out the net for months now readin up on all the info and forums... hell i've even read the whole 122 pages of the current 07 one and love checkin out what the guys are gettin up to.. We are getting in early so we can save some cash and sort out some accom as soon as it becomes available, if we cant get something ourselves, will probably look at renting a big house and splitting the rent with others. We are also keen to live with a mixed variety of ppl not just all aussies, rather get some local knowledge and expand the horizons I guess. Anyway hope to get to know a few ppl before we get there and look forward to some boardin and boozin fun with you all!!! |
