Hey guys,

i've recently got a 157 Ride DH for £150 and Nidecker FF760's for £66 so i'm not doing too badly!

I wanted some suggestions as to what boots i should get, obviously i wouldn't buy online i'd go to tsa or somewhere like that

I want quite a stiff boot for off piste/park jumps (i'm not a fan of jibbage) but i have know idea how stiff and it would need to fit comfortably in my Nideckers so...

any suggestions?

ta muchus!

Many boots now seem to be able to convert by offering a mix of medium and stiff flexes by means of removable plated inserts.

My Northwave Rivals offer a hard plastic insert which runs the whole length and width of the tongue of the boot and fastens by a series of studs which turns it into a much stiffer flex. Changing from park to off piste mode takes seconds!

Plus they are unbelievably comfy and look the shizzle Cool

Go to board shops and try on as many as possible to get the best fitting boot for you and then go online and get it cheaper!

Or you could try on boots in a shop, find em cheaper online and then ask the shop if they can match the price. Think we need to help out boarding shops cause the owners are usually boarders and it's harder and harder to compete with the internet.

if people keep using shops and their expertise to find a boot and then go and get it cheap off the internet soon it will not be financially viable to have shops!

Then whos gonna sort you out the best fitting kit??!!

The people in tsa dont think twice about helping fellow riders, and then you just go and walk out and buy it off the web! Its just rude.

Depends what shape your foot is as to what boot would be recommended. They are all made in different shapes.

I've tried that many a time but never had a shop match the price yet, TSA, Boardwise tec. In fact the guys in one Boardwise were just ignorant and more interested in chatting to their mates than actually helping out Evil or Very Mad .

Anyway, I also found that getting a moulded insole fitted helped me no end in getting comfy boots. But yes TSA were very helpful and I did buy my last boots and insoles from them so head along there. Very Happy
