Are they the 07/08 or the 06/07? I have the 06/07 and they look fine......................ride fantastically!!!
They're the 06/07 ones, (Black with that weird cream bit at the front ot the footplate).
All being well I'll give them a blast at the weekend, been a frustrating few weeks seeing my new setup in the hallway every day but not being able to use them! |

Well, review time I suppose!
Gave my new Relay Pro's their first outing on my Bataleon Hero at Xscape on Sunday, spent the night swapping boards (swinging if you will) with my mate who took a Ride Kink with my Cartels on it.
Just like the build quaility the differene in riding them was chalk & cheese - the Salomons were so much more comfortable than my Cartels, no question - both me & my mate agreed on that.
Responsiveness I couldn't feel any difference between the two (bearing in mind the Cartels are sold as being super-responsive), so no worries there, and their take on the Capstrap worked perfectly after a bit of adjustment to fit my boots better.
All that calf pain I'd got with my Cartels was gone, basically if you're looking for a pair of bindings, and you find a set of these available - just get them you won't be dissapointed I promise!! |

I had some solomon freestyle bindings, cant remember which ones but they were from 2007 black and white, with loads of flex on them. Went to America where it was cold (-15 to -20) after two days the strap broke and then after a week the heel plate cracked in half (after taking no big hits) it appear they couldnt take the cold! In summary - crap. Got Burton Triads now, much better!
What annoyed me more is that solomon refused to replaced them because they said it was more than normal wear and tear! I had no way to prove otherwise! needless to say ill never buy solomon again! |
