When I was thinking of buying a set of bindings it was a toss up between the K2 Cinch bindings and the C60s. I went with the C60s because I felt surer in the regular design of the C60s. I like the idea of the cinch, but feel dubious about the revolutionary hinge that allows you quick access to slipping into your binding.....anyway, until all your friends have a pair you'll still be waiting for them to clip in their back foot at the top of the lifts.

Anyway the C60s have a the complete wrapping on the toe cap, which unlike lower Burton bindings in the range, cup under toe as well as over. I think the toe cap is probably the chief component in product design that has made bindings so much more comfortable in recent years. My old Forum bindings often had me grimacing in pain on the lift rides after cutting off my blood circulation. No more with the toe caps.

The toe cap also forces my boot back into the bindings meaning that the room for forward/backward slippage is non-existant.

The C60 is also 'crazy light' as the Americans would say. Made of resin and carbon fibre, the only metal bits on it are the slick metal buckles. The buckles make the whole process of binding your foot in fantastically easy.

The C60s are incredibly adjustable too. You can change the 'gas pedal', the position of the toe cap, you can centre the padding on the bindings, line-up your high-backs with the heel edge and improve the forward lean with the 'living' hinge.....I could go on as there is so much you can do. And, because you can customise so many different areas it'll be years before you finally tweak it into the perfect fit. Not that the regular set-up isn't more than adequate.

These bindings were fantastic and made the tranference from heel to front edge boardering on a dream.
