Got these for Xmas from the rents, after having used 04/05 Burton Freestyles for nearly two years. The difference they make is amazing - they are so much more responsive than my Freestyles were and hold your feet in nice and securely.
Like the other Ride bindings, the Dvas have the 'convertible' toe strap, designed so you can wear it either as a regular toe strap or across the end of your foot like you would a cap strap. Can't say im immensely impressed (still cant figure out why you cant just do that with a normal toe strap anyway) but they do make a bit of difference - toes less likely to go numb under the strap, and do hold your boot more securely against your highback without having to strap in massively tight.
Aluminium ratchets are smooth and feel like theyre much more secure than plastic (Freestyles used to undo themselves from the impact of hitting a kicker or rail - quality).
Highbacks and ankle strap comfy, cushioned base plates feel much nicer under your boot, and whole thing just damn good!
Would definitely recommend spending the extra money on a half-decent pair of bindings for anyone looking to buy some, and the Dvas are a good way to go.
