Well we're up by Cas for the weekend and were watching last night and the slopes were dead... esp considering it was supposed to be a ramp night
Anyway.. we're not sure whether to go for a few hours tonight at about 6pm or go Sunday morning, first thing?
Anyone know if there are any ski groups or anything like that like at MK? |

Thanks, just as well you said as we were planning going tomorrow morning but if the lions ski club is anything ike the ones at MK I'd rather not be on the same slope as them.
You work at Xscape? |

Cool! The learner slope is teeny from what we saw, compared to MK anyway!
Looking forward to checking out the slope tonight anyway... and hoping the lifts arent to hard to tackle |

| I made the mistake of going last Sunday morning. Got so bored of avoiding hordes and hordes of small children on the slope it was a bit of a waste. I reckon Xscape should just close to the general public for these hours so the ski clubs get full use of the slop and the general public don't get crappy slope time. |

Well we went this evening and it was pretty quiet so had a good few hours riding... found the lifties/staff much friendlier than MK too!
First time at Cas and it does differ to MK alot, think the run is alot shorter but the lift track seems to be easier to ride, althought the steep drop at the end caught me off gaurd, was like a kicker.. I went flying over but landed ok and actually felt quite pleased with myself hahahaha!! |

Thought it pretty cool that the lessons go on so late at night Saw some of the workers all sledging down at the end at madly crashing into the padding
Errmmm not sure about hotels at MK, never really looked tbh, I think there might be one close, possibly a travel lodge or something but in driving distance.
We're staying at the Tulip, nice hotel and for £49 a night with the spot on location and free wireless net access, u cant complain |
