you only have to get permission (written, including signature) if the person is prominent and/or recognisable in the film.

This is usually done by getting the person to write their name and sign a pre-written document known as a release form.

When riding at a ramp night i'm pretty sure that one of the terms of slope use is the acceptance of being filmed.

there is a notice on the doors that lead to the slopes at both CAS and MK saying that you should not be on there filming without prior authorisation

I personaly would have been chuffed that my no. was given out, as i would think that someone obviously liked my shots, I would have also seen it as an opertunity to sell a photo to the caller. the guy at cas was prob just trying to help you both out.

This is why I didn't sign the book and just recorded some stuff. The lifties are cool about it

yeah well i usually dont bother siginf the book bt this lifie kept bugginbg me about it, then later on one of the other lifites asked if i had signed it, they must be on a crackdown about it and told off the lifies to check if people had or not

i think that whoever gave your number out Robster obviously didnt do it maliciously,

yeah i know they didnt to me to be malicious but thats not the point, its like if you hit someone with your car but you didnt mean to do it, your still in the sh1t, I mean i not looking for this person to get fired, but they should remind all the staff not to give out personal phone numbers over the phone or in an emil......and some free passes would be nice!

It will be very nice to get free passes Rob - but only because they never give away anything for free. But if you write to them I can't see how they can refuse, I think we've established that this was actually quite serious

Im trying to go allot more and learnt loads of new tricks recently i seem to have no fear! Loads of people saying "love the vid" but i cant find it anywhere.... can u post a link to it please? Surely if this is a book you're signing, it's perfectly obvious that anybody else that signs the same page will be able to see your details, so I hardly think you can expect that data to be private anyway. At MK they use A4 forms (unless things have changed recently).

Put your name address as "ROBster on snowboardclub.co.uk" next time and they can simply PM you Wink
