yeah, it used to be on about 1pm on a Sunday.
Some of the bands were a bit cack . (Edwin Collins??!), but some were good, Roni Size etc.
The best thing was that it wasnt the standard "YO MEGA XTREME 1080" TV that was on all the Sky channels at the time. it went a bit deeper with things. There actually wasnt that much snowboarding in it, which I remember being a regular compaint from people.
Phil Young did a short lived magazine called Ergo Sum, issue 1 was given away with SUK if I remember rightly. That was a good magazine, not just the same old stuff.
Its pretty strange to think that I probably wouldnt be typing this in Canada without that show. |

If memory serves me ..... They did one episode out in Mt. Baker featuring the legend that is Jamie Lynn.
I'm still to make it to Baker ... but I'm going to get there because of that program |

Bring back Board Stupid. It was about the only snowboarding programme on when I started. Too many samy bands though, although I think Dodgy played once, so that wasn't too bad.
I remember that, and then Dodgy did a video for one of thier singles where they were all riding. |

'Endtroducing' is one of my favourite albums. 'Stem/long stem' is one of the best. You want to check out DJ Shadow's live album as well it's called 'In Tune and On Time' The version of 'Organ Donor' on it is far better than on Endtroducing
entroducing and the K&D sessions (kruder & dorfmeister) took up most of my head space in probably 2000 (ish ) |

Reading this thread has made today for me! Been sat here with Endtroducing playing on loop through Spotify!
What an album - one of the gems that gets played to death and then somehow forgotten!
One things for sure - its back to stay this time!!!
(and yeah, the K&D Sessions always good for a listen! - some of my best shreddin has been done with the Kruder in my cans!) |
