Anyone worn Yodai's or Robins over their bins? I've tried them on over mine and they fit (no need for OTG cereal box on front of face syndrome ) but am a little concerned about having more things mash into my face when I stack it (and I will!) and the slight gap at the sides making for a fog fest.
Do know I do need to get goggs that can do something about flatlight. Smashed a shoulder thanks to snowblindness in Austria last year. Bruised nerve the same as Jonny Wilkinson took 3 months to come right!
I know contacts are the proper way to go but I only get to board at most 3 wks a year and am loathe to shell out the £££ for contacts I'll hardly use...
1 month to Val D atop my brand Custom. Oh yesssss. |

| Have you thought of the glasses insert for the Addidas ones? rather than wearing them over your glasses |

I use daily contacts and throw them out when finished. The thought of forking out for expensive contacts and having them blow out when on the slope ( happened lots of times so far). I'd suggest going to an optitians and having a sight test and get them to give you some trial ones that you can use for the hols. They don't tend to charge for samples. After that don't bother to buy any!!! |

Yes, have thought about it. Might be an option if its cheaper than contacts. Do like the Yodais as well - not bad looking as far as goggles go. |

| I just wear contacts. Same as Yorksha I wear dailys so can just chuck them if they annoy me and carry a few spares when on the mountain. |

I'll look into this but I'm pretty blind - I think disposables are for people who can see further than the end of their noses, unlike myself. |

| I got daily contacts cost 30 knicker for a months supply, so i don't use them anything other than riding so get 30 days riding out of them and they don't steam up like googles and glasses(i'm a sweaty bast*d). The Inserts sound good but i've got oakleys so can't afford to shell out for new goggles to get inserts for them |

I reckon I'll be off down SpecSavers to look into this daily business. Main problem is I have astigmatism in my left eye (ie: my glasses lense is thicketr towards the one side to compensate). I have to therefore get special lenses (toric, In think they're called) to deal with this.
Alternatively I can straight line every black I come across. Eyes will be closed then! |

i've got dailys too - no issues with them so far - i also have astigmatism - but not bad enough to need the funny lenses. once youve got em you'll never go back!
also try www.lensway.co.uk (i think) cheap as chips - missus got her lenses for slightly less than half price (but you need to have a proper, recent, contact lense prescription handy.........) |

What's your glasses prescription?
I'll be able to tell you if you can wear daily lenses. |

You can also get daily toric lenses now for your astigmatism. |

it's not really bad enough to worry about - only a tiny tweak to the glasses as it is!
and lensway seem to go from -12 to +6 in the dailys (and both my eyes are better than -2....) |

| I wore the Oakley L Frames (designed for specs) over my glasses for a week in Avoriaz and they were perfect, no fogging, very comfortable and lenses good for flat light. Only £45 as well. |
