Ok, lets get the discussion going.
First, this one was great, I enjoyed every minute of it. But my suggestions for next year.
1. I'd like to pay more for better accomodation. Doesn't have to be very expensive, but another £100 - £150 maybe.
2. Area, I enjoyed alpe d'huiz, but should we stick to the same place or try somewhere different.
3. Timing, I'm happy with that week, what does everyone else think? |

I want to do the Bash next year but... I have 5 weeks holiday to fit in:
1 week BASI instructor course
1 week in Austria or Switzerland with mates
1 week elsewhere with other mates
3-4 weeks in Oz
1 week Winter Bash
2 weeks in Canada
(Total 9-10 weeks)
I'm going to have to attempt some mighty complicated juggling! |

i'm up for the bash next year.
i think we should head somewhere else, maybe rotate between 2 or 3 resorts year after year so people that go to more than one winter bash don't get bored.
i didn't mind the accomodation, it was only the food we got that bothered me. |

There's 2 parks there, one baby which is good for trying new stuff and one massive scary one!! Oh and don't forget the superpipe. If you do Avoriaz you can ride over in Morzine and Les Gets as well. |

I'd place a vote for Morzine based to exploit all of the Avoriaz/Portes Du Soliel region:
Short transfers
Great guided off-piste (but don't go wandering around on your own - Big cliffs)
At least 4 parks and an international standard pipe
Morzine central to all region
Free bus transfers all over the resort
Low cost accomodation in abundance
Many english owned catered chalets available
Kick ass nightlife
Card reader liftpass systems
Possible to ride back to morzine from most places in the resort
around three times the pisted area of Alpe D'Huez
controlled off-piste zones for back country, including a "natural park"
the only short coming of Morzine is a low altitude (900-2200m) but in late January that should not be a problem. |

| I agree, accommodation and the food were the only let-downs. But even if next year was exactly the same, I'd go again in a heartbeat. |

i just got back from bansko and had great time. snow was great as we had knee deep powder on most slopes. accomodation was 4 star hotel with outdoor pool, which was great, and to top it all some local bars were selling beer for about 40p. |
