Does anyone know where I can get something a little different to the Red, Protec, Giro helmets?
I know it's probably the wrong time of year to be choosy, as most places are running out of stock but I need one before Xscapeology and all I can find is the above.
I saw the Protest one in the Snowboard UK Bible but haven't been able to find them listed anywhere in the UK and the website is shockingly bad!!!
May have to go with the flow and get Red or Protec, does anyone have any opinions/experience of the Protec Freecarve helmet?
Cheers |

3 of my mates have got the B2 and are happy with them, so I may well go down that route.
I've narrowed it down to a few, opinions greatly received. They're all the same price but the Scotty Arnold's looking tempting with the audio pads......just slightly concerned as to looking like a human Cue Ball riding a snowboard! |

Just ordered the Scotty Arnold, at £46 including delivery it was too good an offer to miss.
They've got a very reasonable returns policy so if I'm not 100% happy with it, I'll send it back and get something else.
You not listen to music whilst riding Wookie?, I never have before because I didn't like the idea of using inner ear headphones whilst riding but just listening through pads seems pretty safe.
Cheers Katy, if I'm not happy with the shiney cue ball look, I may have to give you a shout!! |
