Getting binding/boot/boats to match? (although alot of males suffer this problem too) |

| i guess im lucky that i dont care about the matching of boots and bindings. but as you said dashie men and snowboarding brings out the Gok Wan in many of them. |

proper impact shorts!!! though the red/d3o ones i bought yesterday look like they may have started listening to the outcry about the "pink and useless" ones companies have previously produced...
also, i have proper pixie feet (2.5 in "normal" shoes). i always struggle to find snowboard boots that fit properly. if the snowboard companies make them, then shops in the uk don't seem to stock them. luckily i don't buy a new pair of new snowboard boots every year and can find size ~4s that do fit properly when i do need a new pair.
as far as clothing goes, i'm lucky that x/small men's or larger boys stuff fits me if the women's stuff doesn't. that's the "proper tech" boxes ticked  |

I wear mens stuff. Everything apart from socks, in which I can't find anything that fits me and lasts longer than a month.
Same with snowboard boots - UK3 - but I have to buy every year as I ride so much. |

I've also heard a girl, from this forum, ride down CFe shouting 'owww my boob' after slipping of a rail. But she will remain nameless. But that would also hurt a larger male.
Maybe the survey should include larger men too |

| The questions are geared towards womens competition and relate mainly to prize money and sponsorship. They don't seem to be interested in boobs or pants. |

| i think it also wants to try and address the coverage of womens snowboarding in the media ??!! Prize money thats offered for females, if there should be more females in big media productions ( Travis rice supernatural sort of thing) |

womens snowboarding is in someways represented in accordance with the numbers of women that actually snowboard.
its not unusual for there to be only one or two girls actually riding in the female catagories of competitions.
I think the problem needs to be addressed from the ground up first.....Get more women snowboarding...the rest (prize money, sponsorship, parts in movies) will follow.
At least your not skateboarding.....i think there's only 1 female competition now or something stupid like that..... |

yeh its all supply and demand which is understandable, but i get the impression that womens achievements are not always celebrated sometimes as much as the guys.. e.g female pro rider does a 1080 spin and although great, there will always be those who say " XYZ pro male rider does those for fun now" People like to see the best and the latest and at the mo many of those tricks are still done by guys
Getting girls into the sport early is def key. |

So we should judge people on gender before ability? That's sexism whatever way you look at it.
Imagine being a guy who is better than any women snowboarders out there but cannot be a pro because he is not good enough to compete against other male pro's.
The survey seems geared towards women being annoyed people do not recognise how good the women are because males can do better, get to the same standard of guys if it's such a big deal and you want the same coverage.
Oh wait, you can't because you have a vagina.
