| Seen a video online which was created by loads of these strapped to various places on a snowboard/person. Obviously it's not the best quality in the world, but due to the cheap cost, having loads mounted in different places made for an interesting edit in the end. |

| It is scary the quality for a few quid. I am really tempted to buy the keyring camera and give it a blast, i mean, what's a tenner? Lol |

why pay a tenner when you can get it for less than £6 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MicroSD-Key-V ... 256ba4c480
I have just ordered one for a laugh. I have various small cams like these, including the Veho Muvi which was surprisingly good, and i now have the Contour Roam which is sWEEEET ! So it will be funny to compare the footage and im sure i will spit out my beer when i see how decent the £6cam fares up, lol |

Anyone know of any reviews of things like this:

There are thousands of them on ebay and from a spec point of view they dont look too bad. What do we think?
Jump on youtube and search for "pro more camera" and you will get plenty results showing very disappointed people reviewing it. I know its super cheap but it seems to show in the end result. If you want a good cam for cheap Try get your hands on a Sanyo Xacti GH1 , you can get one second hand for around £50 but you can also pick up a new one for under £100, and that gives pretty nice footage for the low amount of cash. You will never shoot a blockbuster film on it,but for home movies and general stuff its pretty damn good. |

| At the end of the day you get what you pay for. If you just want a laugh spend the tenner and have some fun. If you want to take video a bit more seriously, you should definitely check out the latest cameras from contour. They are a lot more expensive but they are really sophisticated high tech bits of kit - they even play live to your iphone, wire-lessly, so you can see what you are filming as you film it. |

I've tried many of these .. the problem you have is that there seems to be a standard case i.e. the key fob .. but the contents can vary wildly !! .. I bought 5 or so of the keyfob ones from different ebay shops. Some were great some were terrible .. I also tried the Muvi and the fake muvi's .. same story.
Saying that I've got a 'muvi' for sale if any ones interested - not a bad little camera - just not in the same league as my Gopro's. Saying that I can't remember the last time I saw the muvi, will have to look for it tonight. |

I got something like this for my dad. Which I guess is the fake movie.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sports-Video-Ca ... amp;sr=8-2
It was a bit sh1t even for a throw away thing. Could barely see the led on the slopes so filming was hit or miss. Quality was also a bit sh1t. Wasnt worth the time faffing around with it.
For the record I also have one of these from a few years ago.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-Full-Ul ... B002JTVR70
Also a bit sh1t. Quality was ok (not as good as my phone) but the sound was white noise most of the time. TBF it was small and did the job.
What about getting a cheap compact camera? |
