I had major problems with heal lift for years.... Been through lots of different types of boots. etc.

I found on toe side I was trying to push down with my toes. It wasn't till I was talking about this with friends I discovered I was doing that instead of relaxing down into the boots. closing the ancle joint and leaning forward in to the fronts of the boots instead of trying to force my toes down.

Try that.... hope it helps.
