Aw wow, Unbelievably i've only just really taken notice to the brits and it's just around the corner grhh! The homerun sounds pretty funny but must be a emergency service nightmare lol, So is anyone goin this year or competing? Also what are the bar and food prices like at riders palace?
I'm lookin to take part next year in the Big Air, So from now until then it's psyched up monster fuelled practice for me, But i got a mctwist and a secret weapon in the bag :p
If the governing body has changed, Who is in charge of the competitors license now?

The Brits runs under the FIS rules... not sure how the competitors license works, you need to have a British Passport and competition insurance... that's pretty much it.

Mctwist? Unless I'm very much mistaken you can only do those in the pipe?

mctwist is an inverted 540 grab, Easier on a pipe for sure, A 180 into a 360 frontside grab, On the pipe you can get more rotation because you can hit the move early going up and focus on the extra rotation on the way down, In big air/slopestyle its not so easy because your direction is forward and up, Saying that though, The move originally came from (Dare i say it) Skateboarding.

I've never heard of anyone ever pulling a mctwist off a straight jump.

Yeah McGill...

Unless it's on a half pipe, quarter pipe or something like that then the trick you described would be a backside rodeo...

Exactamundo. A mctwist is a frontflip 540 in the pipe/quarter too. What you're on about is definitely a rodeo.

Nice one for getting them down though, I've been trying for a while and keep damaging myself...
