I am seriously thinking of trying out this place one weekend, but can someone tell me whats the best way to get there from London.
Train/bus - any ideas on how much and is it worth lumping all your gear around with you all the time? maybe its best to hire once you get there, no?
Car - how long it would take to drive there? and are there any motorway "toll" or any other road/entry charges i should know about?
Many Thanks |

| we always take the dover to calais ferry, early morning, then youve got approx 3.5-4 hrs drive dependant on toilet breaks(always a pain if u got women in the car lol), no toll charges on this route and your on the slope for lunch time, well worth it mate, hope you enjoy it........ |

| No probs man,the hotel is really good but you dont have any other choice as its located in a small village,if you book a double room and maybe bunk 4 in it keeps the cost down, but it can be quite funny with the shower as its made of frosted glass and can be revealing lol(make sure you know your roomies very well) the other option is to take a van across and sleep in that( you can use the facilities in snow world) ie toilets, showers and bar....but eating can be quite expensive. The park is awesome and it is out all the time(far better than any of our domes), the way they work their lift passes is a fantastic idea to. If you require any further info, just give us a shout, happy to oblige..... |

| I'm going in July and it's going to cost £200pp all in (and I mean all in, spends, petrol, hotel the lot) and I live in Manchester so it'll take me 6/7 hours to get to the train then another 3.5 hours at the other end. Going to go on a Friday (very early hours) and come back Sunday afternoon. |

Yeh mate:
Petrol about £40pp (got a good diesel car, £40 can my better half to London and she still has some spare, lol)
Accom was about £60pp for two nights (£120 for the room)
Lift pass £30pp for the day (and time stops when you do)
food about £60pp
I would say £250pp to be on the safe side but as I say (or maybe I didnt???) it's based on 4 people going on the trip. Have done that off the top of my head but if you give me a day or two I will work it out properly, send me a PM on Wednesday and I'll do a proper break down with link etc havent got time tonight to do it.
Channel tunnel £15pp (think it's £60per car) |

Been out to Landgraaf a few times now, the Dutch certainly know how to build a dome. We normally head over on a Friday night, stop at the hotel and spend 8 hours on the slope on Saturday, which only costs about 37 Euros.
Like bruceg says, the park is awesome, well maintained and everytime I have been, they have had the airbag out for the whole day and night.
If you do get out there, pop into Funpark board store just down the road from the the dome, good little shop and the guy that runs it is always on the slope at the weekend, super friendly and loves brits.

| We have stopped in all three types of rooms, the penthouse room is the best for your needs as it has two floors, sofa bed downstairs and bed upstairs, but its all open plan like all of the rooms there. |

Here you go mate:
Tunnel £25pp
Hotel £90pp two nights based on a basic room.
Pass £60 8hrs one day, 2hrs the next so you could save by not doing the second day and it works out at £37 as already stated above.
Petrol £40pp
Food £50pp but thats me taking lunch for the first day.
= £265pp or £242 if you dont do the second day.
But they are doing deals on a stay at the hotel with a day pass on the slope so you could work it out even cheaper I think if you plan it right. |
