Mate and me are gonna have to kill about 7 hours (12.30pm - 19.30pm) from when we land to when we get picked up for our transfer.

Anyone got any suggestiions on how we do it, any bars near the airport or should we head to the city centre etc. (I know we could drink at the airport, but I hate Geneva Airport at the best of times)

We'll have one boardbag and one backpack each.

Been there, done that and might be doing it again on the 21st !
I got told you can get a free train ticket at the airport ( before you get to arrivals hall ) that'll get you into Geneva and back. We didn't find it and ended up paying..
You can leave boards for about £10 at left luggage and collect when you come back.
Hope that helps.

yeh there is a free ticket thingy just in baggage reclaim area.

otherwise swiss chalet does a mean bacon, eggs, rolls, coffee and orange juice for 6.50euros and beer is 4 euros a pint (cheaper than resorts and heineken so it tastes a lot better!!)

Where is this Swiss Chalet?

Anyone know of any decent(cheap) boozers downtown

Sightseeing and 'culture' is not our thing, we're fae Dundee, so we're total pissheads.

On the return, we've got to stay a night in Geneva, so if anyone has any decent hotel suggestions that'd be excellent (we're way too old for hostels)

When you going to be there?
I might be killing sometime in Geneva tomorrow myself if my flight makes it in too tight for the bus I want to get.

Last time I spent three hours sat on a bench outside waiting for the bus & had a dodgy croque monsieur from a place in the Terminal.

I had to wait 5 hours at Geneva airport coming home from the bash

Watched some homeless man walk around for 1 hour, spent an hour on MSN then had a staring competition with the ground for the remaining 3 (:
