I went on the Definition freestyle course www.definitioncamps.com at MK last month and thought it might be helpful to do a quick review of the weekend for anyone thinking about doing a freestyle course.

I had never done any freestyle before but always looked at the kickers and rails and though I fancy a slice of that. I heard about the Definition Freestyle Course and I bit the bullet and signed up.

I have to say right off the bat that Gav Learmonth, the bloke behind Definition, was awesome. It came as no surprise that he was the former British Olympic Coach and properly qualified as he seriously knows his stuff. The other coach Chris who was working with him was also super sound.

The group were a good mix of people that were looking to improve their already developed freestyle skills and those like me that had never done any before.

The Definition teaching method was awesome and you really felt that you were provided with a solid foundation by the end of the weekend. The video feedback was really good and in my view this def helped speed up development.

I started the course nervous having never done any freestyle before and by the end of the weekend I was sessioning the kicker and the rails with confidence.

I would seriously recommend this course to anyone who wants to take their skills to the next level or like me if you want to get a good foundation for building the solid basic skills.
