I tried to grow my hair last season, but only lasted 4 weeks until I had to shave it.

So did anyone get any good bargins from the turkey sales??
I didnt last too long and the main one, i didnt really need anything, it was too busy, i had a sore ankle, and everyone smelt of garlic. I think i was in and out in 15 mins.
I did get a good deal a comor though, this years 32 Team twos for $170 tax in, bargin when they are normally $350.

On the subject of turkey, is anyone cooking one up for thanksgiving tomorrow?
We are taking it to the next level, we got some buddys who happen to be fine dining chefs cooking up one hell of a roast. Its a quail stuffed in a cornish hen, stuffed in a duck, stuffed in a turkey, wrapped in bacon!!
Its going to be epic lol.

I didnt get anything from the turkey sale, although there were quite a few bargains, I had to restrain myself, otherwise I could have walked out with a new setup.

Hmm Turducken Quail, sounds awesome!

I googled Turducken and found this in the wiki entry: "The largest recorded nested bird roast is 17 birds, attributed to a royal feast in France in the early 19th century (originally called a Rôti Sans Pareil, or "Roast without equal") - a bustard stuffed with a turkey, a goose, a pheasant, a chicken, a duck, a guinea fowl, a teal, a woodcock, a partridge, a plover, a lapwing, a quail, a thrush, a lark, an Ortolan Bunting and a Garden Warbler. The final bird is small enough that it can be stuffed with a single olive; it also suggests that, unlike modern multi-bird roasts, there was no stuffing or other packing placed in between the birds. This dish probably could not be recreated in the modern era as many of the listed birds are now protected species."

Now that would be an awesome Thanksgiving.

awww i'm salivating, not just at how awesome it would taste, but more at how many people would be totally offended.
The only way to make that more wrong/better would be to stuff all that into a hippie!

We are calling ours a Turduckenail. Also just found out that 'Canadas best chef' Melissa Craig will be joining us for dinner. lol
