I am after another pair of bindings that are stiffer than the Missions I ride in at the moment.
Was thinking about P1's, but what other makes offer similar performance. |

| Ride CAD, Rossi Jeremy Jones, and Salomon SPX90. My preference is the Salomons, but they are by far the most expensive and hardest to find. |

| Targa's are a good all-mountain binding. They're the stiffest in the Rome range (but can be adjusted), and are good all-mountain. Of the bindings I mentioned only the CAD is a true all-mountain binding as both the Rossi and Salomon will hurt you in the park. |

| Targa's are pretty good, I have some and set them up on the stiffest setting and they work well and with comfort. They are much stiffer than missions, which I can only compare to a wet pair of socks. |

| I'm not a huge fan of Union bindings. They're too bulky and heavy for my taste. |

I liked my missions but I do agree, time to change. |

Don't know anyone who has tried them for a point of referance, would be after the lightest pair I can get.
I have had a go in Burton P1's and know thats the sort of response/stiffness I am after.
The ROME Tagras have aparantly got alot lighter since they came out a few years ago. How does the adjustamnt work for the response? |

| The Targas are lighter than they were, but they're still not as light as CADs. Both are super adjustable and have great response, but the webbed toe strap and the canting adjustment would have me leaning towards the CAD. |

CAD's will be a hell of a lot stiffer than the P1's. The P1's are really not that stiff. You might like the Burton Triads or Ride Betas.
I'm riding the Burton CO2's right now and absolutely love them to pieces. Such a stompable binding and really comfortable. One of the best bindings I've ridden in a while but try and find them in the sale as they aren't cheap at full price. |

Have a look at the STREET bindings on this page (scroll over a binding to see a hi res image) http://www.oneloveofboardsports.com/bindings.html (in stores next month)
This seasons come in LA LAKERS colours, HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS and BOSTON CELTEKS.
Basically SIMON CHAMBERLAIN rides these bindings exclusively this season, and he used to ride CARTELS and the rest of the TECHNINE bindings range he found too soft, but he raves of about the STREET, as their a lot stiffer construction, and the straps are made out of BASKETBALL rubber which keep your foot locked in tight and the SHELL toe cap when fitted right is instant response, but you also get a spare toe cap which is like the signature TECHNINE baltimore strap with the hole.
There were only a few pairs in the UK last season but I know BRANNY from FEAR OF THE PARK has been rocking them winter and he loves the response they give, and they will only be in two stores for next season, but worth hunting them down.
I will be doing demos all over in October/November so come along and give them a shot. |

| If you want stiff and money is no option, Catek freefides are excellent. Nidecker act one's are very good to and you can pick the up cheapish from the states. |
