The way you balance all those drinks on your board is AMAZING |

humm... I don't work in the snowboarding industry, and I don't board 365 days a year, so I guess I'm not a REAL snowboarder.
I do have a T6 and some Prada outerwear though* – does that count towards being a boarder?
(*this is true! The T6 I ride, but the 2x Prada Jackets and a pair of pants I bought at an auction of airport lost property – I've never worn them, but aim to put them up on ebay this coming winter...) |

id say u need atleast 60 days a year.
i used to say 100 but i stopped avraging that and am now sad.
last two seasons did like 220 days and 160 days.
now i would say a snowboarder is someone who dosent change there clothing style cos there at home, someone who check every snowboard site, tws, snowboard mag etc every couple of hours. watches every teaser that drops and just generally cant live without thinking of snowboarding 100 times a day. and goes snowboarding whenever possible. |

i am officially not a snowboarder then...i managed 2 hours on snow last season....and that was a hiked hill 2hrs outside cape town!! have never done a season and probably never will.
although i've been riding dryslope for 10 years, organised local comps, contribute to a UK freestyle site...etc
therefore i'm not a snowboarder..i'm a deskbound winter sports enthusiast!!!
but i'm with tom on the second paragraph....especially if you add in TW Business, Board Source and loads of other industry crap, plus myspace and facebook snow related threads..an hrs of daily IM dribbling over shred issues....
can i be half a snowboarder please |

Been doing it 8 weeks or so, been 5 times @ MK.
i am slowly buying all the gear... did snowboard and a day...
Got the trousers (no fear ones) bargin @ £20
Jacket from Two Seasons...
Finally cracked linked turns 2 weeks ago, treated myself to some Vans Encore Boa boots, just went yesterday, fantastic, new boots give so much more confidence, lean more, doing tighter and tigher S bends... trying to be more fluid. I can control speed better, means i can go faster!
Buying the board next.
Am I a snowboarder?? well i can link turns and control speed so yup, i think so! |

I couldn't care less!
I ride when I can and spend the rest of the time thinking about it.
I have fun, and that's all I care about. |

Yeah i just tell girls I snowboard so that they will think I am cool as really underneath my faux persona of being a snowboarder I am a dry husk incapable of being someone so I must assimilate myself to a popular culture in order to feel accepted
I love snowboarding, everytime I see a hill or a large mountain I think 'If only that had snow on it...' I even have snowboarding dreams =P One had ROBster in it =D Hahaha |
