Just been down to have a look at the current state of play with the redevelopment. they seem to have layed the snowflex down on the main slope, and have the rest layed out ready to add to the kicker side.

i guess the mound next to the wooden kicker frame is for the rail?

and i guess on the right of the bottom view its the start of the 1/4?

all in all it looks sweeeet, nice and big with loads of room on the take off/landing!

CANT WAIT!!! Laughing Laughing Laughing

is it going to be the same as Aberdeen, how long are these set ups any way, 100m or so?

i think they said `similar` to Aberdeen. not sure if its going to be identical. the drop in for the kicker has been raised, but im not sure how much room they have for other things. the 1/4 is where the old `hip` was.

i think warmell is 110m long.

When do you think that the slope will be open? roughly, just thinking about an AIM Series venue...

Does it have a nursery slope as well?

it has a normal slope, next to the drop in for the kicker side , and a small nursery slope right at the bottom , which you cant see in the photos. the nursery slope is about 10ms long!

the only claim ive heard for opening times is `before the end of the season`. not sure what that means. but judging by the work theyve done , i guess it could be open in a month or so. maybe.

i used to ride there everyweek in 98-00, but i think it sort of died off. a few people used to go from Dorchester i know, but everyone Bournemouth way rides Calshot or Christchurch.

that will soon change though!
