Post subject: RE: How
Seems they're going for about £30 from plenty of mountainbiking stores...uh oh.
I'm going to say no on account of me heading to the snow on Friday and them not getting here in time. Might shell out for them for summer bike riding though.

Onboard were giving them away as a subscription gift a year or so ago (exactly the same except the back of the hand was white instead of black). I have to admit I wore them quite a lot last spring and they were really good... and they don't look as crazy as you'd think when they're on... although I've never been known for my good taste!

Haha the gloves are ace but that's even better.

Yes... but that's kind of normal.

I honestly can't believe it. My mind always seems to be in the gutter. How could I not spot that. Shamed!

I will be wearing them with pride from now on.

And funny thing is... my girlfriend's got exactly the same pair. She hasn't worn them yet, but I'll have to encourage her Laughing

Freudian slip?

They're mega small, I doubt if they'd fit. I do have a spare pare of XLs though funnily enough, I'd quite happily donate my used pair and start using my new ones (they're not too stinky).

...it's odd that this thread's come up, considering I've got a collection of these gloves!

tbh when I 1st saw them I missed the brown little finger and thought the bright pink just helped suggest a constant V being flicked at anyone behind you.

now I've got that bloody Steel Panther track in my head... should dig out the album as I've not heard it in a while.

i've added the NSFW to it, but as I haven't posted a link to anything I can't see that there is anything wrong?

True.. anyone searching teh intertubes for 'double fist' pretty much has no excuse and will get what is coming to them! (no pun intended!) Especially if they have come here via the phrases "two in the pink and one in the stink" and "A whole hand in each, that's the way forward"...

Hey, i just found out that pow made two versions both identical looking, one for bike and one for snow (annoying as there doesnt appear to be a visual way to distinguish the two)... here is the one for snow:

I know biketart has some. And they seem the same as the snow ones, but balls if i get them and they're the bike ones, anyone know?

Also it says you have to ring to check stock on that site Neutral
DereksDontRun - Apr 18, 2010 - 10:19 AM
Post subject: RE: Re: RE: How
tbh, i think they're the same glove, whether it's listed as bike or snow. On the Pow site look at the material/construction waffle - as far as I could tell they're the same.

they're lightweight thin gloves, so find for a dome, but wouldn't want to use outside on a cold day. Also, if you're used to falling over a bit, they're not waterproof, so areas without the silicone print can get cold/wet.

As mentioned on the Pow site these are only suitable for 40 to 60 degrees F, so that's 4 -> 16 C (ie not even meant to be used at zero... kinda suggests they're not really snow-gloves and probably more bike ones)
