SCUK members are invited to the Snowboard UK boardtest in Tignes 2-9th July.
I know we've talked about it a few weeks ago, and cant find the post which it was on so, check this out on the news page...

The idea behind the test for the SCUK members is that you can "try before you buy"... i guess that those that come on the forum which make it over to the test can come back on here and give their inside line on what the product is like...
like I said EVERY board being sold in the UK next year will be on test!!!

Its glacier riding... what are you expecting in July? anyway you can test pretty much all the boards in these conditions bar the big mountain freeride boards, even then though you can get a feel of what they carve like on the piste and see how the flex reacts...
Plus Tignes at the this time of year has a really good fun park and Graham Mcvoy is in charge of building the jumps, so it will be even better than normal during this week..

In 96 I tested an Aboards Regis Rolland Swallow Tail at the SUK boardtest in Kaprun, Austria and we got 2 foot of fresh... almost 2m long if remember and an absolute nightmare on the piste but sweet as in the powder, the faster you went it just rose up like a submarine and then went into hovercraft mode.... so you never can be too sure what the weather might do...saying that though this was end of May and the Board test is now July so pack your speedo's

i wont be heading out there due to busy events schedule andschools tour approaching around that time... but i know its a really good laugh... especially with all the extra activities in the resort after riding..
