You dont have to book for the camping you just turn up, I think to get the discounted session at tam you have to book in advance so the day before should do it unless its sold out. And i think its in the field it was in the year before last, not last years one next to the track, and i dont thikn anyone can be suprised if we weren't welcome back there!

I been riding mini ramp for the last 15 years (on and off) and i'm still learning everytime i ride it... i learnt frontside and backside 5-0's last night and backside ollies!

don't worry i have my own board which has been sitting in my car for the last few years without use! I nearly learnt how to drop in once, but now it's been a long time since i've ridden a ramp!

The mini ramp is in a tiny little village called curdworth about 15 20 mins from tam, the tamworth mini is deadly and entireley not worth riding!

I'm guessing most people will be driving and currently we could squeeze everyone in my car.

Sunday morning skate-shred sounds good to me! I'm not fussed about playing footie - but BBQ and beer fun is another matter! Plus - by Sunday I might be in a fit state to be a lift-er and not a lift-ee! Thumbs Up

I take it there's no schedule set in stone - but what's the general plans for food and facilities? I'm not gonna bother getting someone to make me a packed lunch if Dunx is bringing a BBQ the size of a transit van and there's a KFC round the corner for afters!

(Yes - I do most of my thinking with my stomach.... A different organ makes all the important decisions tho! Wink

People tend to get horribly drunk Friday night and Saturday night after Tamworth. Having said that one of us was asked to leave the slope last year because they weren't fit to be riding. He didn't kick up much of a fuss, despite being one of the owners of the SnowDome!!

The big BBQ will be coming with me, so whatever time we get there on Friday evening. This is normally planned for around 5, but typically ends up as 8. Feel free to bring a BBQ of your own if you want of course - it's only open fires we need to control.

the 'I LOVE HATS' 2006 field is the one not far from drayton manor.

It was a good feild as we where down in the bottom corner away from everything, and everyone.

They were fine when I orgnised the Splinter Bash an few months after the SB last year, but then again we did have a fire or two and 'someone' was alledgedly driving his high performance car around the field at stupid speeds and ripping the grass to bits doing donuts so things may have changed now. The snowdome are still trying to annoy me! They phoned my today asking why I'd booked two sessions (Which I hadn't!). And then I tried to mention the SCUK bash, and a SCUK discount they still didn't have a clue about any of it! I could've done with that holiday that was the prize for pre booking!

Little question: I have the feeling that my membership didn't go as planned... I see that I got a voucher for a free session at Tamworth and that it is not writed on my card that I can get a discount there.... Or I wanted the discount and not the free session. Any idea on this??

You just get the voucher for Tamworth SnowDome. There's nothing on the actual SCUK membership card for Tamworth's discount. The discount/freebie choice is for SNO!zone, not SnowDome and that is noted on the card.

If you bring the voucher and rock up to reception with a full paying adult, you'll be able to get the session for free.

If you pre-book the session, you're also in with a very good chance of a holiday to Dragon Lodge. I'm not sure whether you can pre-book with the voucher though.

that depends where you're travelling from, the camping is normally a tenner, plus the fee for the dome on saturday, which will depends on if you're a member or not.....plus however much you eat and drink,.....which i think only you can say ! Smile

Booooooo indeed! anyone got a spare huge marquee style tent? needs to be quite tall at least 12 feet wide or 2 12 foot square ones would do? that way even if it is raining we could still do the skate....

just broom most of the wet off and dry it with some old towels that I'll bring...
