Hi there!
Well, the season is over for me now most likely, and I am going to start riding indoors(hopefully weekly or every 2 weeks) for freestyle nights.
As I never went to an indoor slope, few questions come to my mind:
How warm/cold is it in here? Do you need a jacket or do you ride in hoody/teeshirt?
What kind of google do you wear? I have a fire iridium (maximum protection) and guess i will be blind with this! I am not sure you need googles to ride but it save my nose few times 
I wear an helmet, any other protection mandatory to ride, or you can just do what you want?
Do you have somewhere to store your stuff (like snowboard bag and all) while you ride?
In the whole, what you need to get there - I am planning going MK as it is seems the easier for me at the moment.

i ride at tam mate.
1. hoody will be fine
2. no need to wear goggle
3. only helmet is mandatory, any other protection in up to you
4. they have decent sized lockers for 20p each.
not sure how MK is but would assume its pretty similar, hope this helps

Hey,
Thanks for the answer! I was thinking hoody would be ok, I am not the kind to get cold 
Well, as I say I believe googles can save your face from rails and other... is bad weather lenses ok?
Only helmet for now, updating to spin protection and impact short soon!
Tam is a bit far for me I think, though some of my mates want to go there by car so I may go with them at some point!

For MK
1. Hoody or light jacket if you want to be water proof
2. no goggles needed, will prob look a bit silly
3. helmets required if you do jumps/rails, free to borrow, must have some sort of gloves
4. lockers are a pound a go and non-refundable so cant go back mid session

Yeh the lockers are big enough to fit all your stuff in! obviously not big enough to fit a snowboard in or anything like that, but all the clothes that you change into when you're not riding will fit in there!

How good are the snowboard they let you use btw? Haven't order my FS snowboard yet and my amanite is not really designed for rails...

At Milton Keynes the snowboards, boots and bindings are all sh1t. I haven't got a clue how people can learn to ride on equipment like they rent there but there we are.
Snowboards feel sooo slow, it's like riding down the hill on a large piece of sandpaper, the boots have most of the tags missing off of them so you can't do them up and the bindings are all cheap as feck plastic jobbies that also don't do up tight.
I wouldn't go every week if I had to rent any of their stuff 
I imagine that other snozones are better though.

Well, I was thinking of using my booths, though I will need to send them back soon as they are dying after 5 weeks of ride (bouhgt them this year though...crap booths!)
Going to buy my new board this month, so maybe will wait until I get it to have a go at MK then!
What wax are you using for your board btw? Wax for "warm" snow?

well, all temp wax is for -5 to -12 degree celcius (well the one I have at least) and if I am right artificial snow is a bit warmer?

on a 170M slope it makes no difference!!! its not like your going to need shed loads of speed it is!!

Well, was thinking that because it was really short, you were needed to have a board that go well, but I will use my all temp wax then. thanks for the answers.
