There have been posters kicking around Braehead for the last 6 months or so advertising them.

ah - never seen anything at Cas

I didn't have a clue about that. Their well oiled PR system seems to have let them down.
SCUK members don't get a discount on them as it's not part of our agreement, but if this is something they intend to roll out across all sites, we'll certainly look in to it next time we negotiate any changes to that.

Would definitely be something I'd love to see included in the future. Xscpae discount was one of THE big selling points for me, and a discount on the season passes would be lovely (20% obviously )

Just to bump this up, I've been looking at getting one of these for over a year now (the posters have been up longer than that, I'd say from december 2006, which is when I first started) but I've not been able to arrange finances until now (I think I sent an email with this question sometime last year, with no reply although I belive that may have been in the period where Matt was leaving or something like that).
As the above has said negotiating a discount (when you come to your next negotiations) on it would be nice and would basically sort me for fuel to get to the damned place and back. kap66 - Mar 07, 2008 - 12:11 PM Post subject: RE: Re: RE: Xscape, Season Passes
uwwwww! didnt know about this either, hope there is a pass!

Until passes become available at all SNO!zones, it's unlikely to be included in the SCUK deal. We'll certainly keep it in mind though.

A few extra details - I'm just back from picking one up after about a year of sorting out my financial situation, although I don't actually have the fancey badge thing to prove it (no one was about to take the photo).
Basically you're given a pass (see above) with your photo on and can go when you like. It allows you to go on in blocks of up to four hours from what the person at the desk said.
In other words, you can go on for four hours, come off and instantally book another four, it's just a quirk in the way the system works apparantally.
Shame about the discount but you can't have everything.
Forgive me for being slightly amused at the sudden appearance of an article about this on the main page, especially since it's been running for more than a year now (I'd say a year and a quater now) and I've been going on about it in various posts for the past few months.
